With Bangladesh having overcome myriad challenges and obstacles to fulfill its goal of becoming Digital Bangladesh, the goal is now to develop the nation into an innovative and knowledge-based economy, with smart cities and villages seen as the future.

It is with that ambitious vision that a high-level workshop was organized in Dhaka, comprising numerous Ministers, Members of Parliament, mayors of Dhaka, as well as industry leaders and academics.

Furthermore, the government of Bangladesh has also formed the “Smart Bangladesh Taskforce” which will now replace the Digital Bangladesh Taskforce and provide guidance on the implementation of the policies required for Bangladesh to achieve its next milestones.
