Sadman Rahman

National Consultant Resource Mobilization

Sadman Rahman is a multifaceted professional recognized for his extensive experience across diverse sectors including technology, trade, transportation, health, education, and governance. He has worked closely with both the governments of both the United States and Bangladesh as well as the United Nations system, showcasing expertise in policy development and implementation. Currently, he is a Policy Expert with the a2i Resource Mobilization and Artificial Intelligence (AI) project planning teams.

As a former Programme Officer in the UNDP Bangladesh country office, he mobilized almost 6 million USD for economic governance and anticorruption projects. Additionally, he established a research unit in the Bangladesh Investment Development Authority (BIDA) under the Prime Minister’s Office, the first of its kind.

Previously, he served as an Evaluation Specialist for a US state government agency, as well as roles in academic policy research and consulting.

In his free time, he performs and records music as a singer-songwriter.

He received his B.A. in economics from the University of Minnesota Twin Cities, his M.P.P. from the Hubert H. Humphrey School of Public Affairs at the University of Minnesota Twin Cities, and his M.A. in applied diplomacy at the Grace School of Applied Diplomacy at DePaul University.
